# General

The 4 Squad League operates within the CoC of the game and all rules of that apply to this league as well.

The League itself operates with a policy of one pilot, one squad. This means no "ringers", no multi squad pilots. Squads that are found to be operating such pilots WILL forfeit any match they have played.

Fixtures will not be re-arranged during the league for any reason other than server failure.

All game tags must be unique which means the first 10 characters which are visible must be different.

Squadrons will enter a event arena set up for a team game with no other modifications. There will be no passwords. The launch of the event-arenas will be visible for the participating squads, guest pilots and all referees only. It is required, that your squadlists are up to date. Pilots who arenīt listed in your squadlist, canīt see the launch of the event-arena.
It is the responsibility of the C/O's to ensure that all pilots in your squad are registered at Air Attack Central Launch Page showing the name or names that they fly under for your squad. (If your Squad uses match tags i.e.: numbers or letters.

Guest pilots are allowed, as long as they aren't playing for a 2nd squad in the same competition as well. Therefore again: no "wildcards", no "multisquadders".
All guest pilots need to be listed in the group of guest pilots and showing the squad theyīre playing for.
Squads which would like to accept guest pilots have to inform the LM, after that the C/O get access to the guest pilot group to accept applications.
Guest pilots have to submit a application to the "4squad guest pilot group" at the central launch page and to confirm in the application for which squad they want fly for.

# Game Specific

Teams will be assigned nationalities as per the fixture list and will move each quarter as the picture below indicates. The first team listed starting with US then SU, GB and finally GE.
4squad rotation
US --> GE
SU --> GB
GB --> US
GE --> SU

The match will be split into 4 quarters, with each quarter lasting 20 minutes.

Teams may field up to 7 pilots maximum, unless all teams have more. Teams have to be equal in all quarters.
The number of pilots shall not exceed the number of pilots in the first quarter, unless all teams are able to field more pilots.
Squadrons failing to produce less than 4 pilots or any pilot at all within 10 minutes of the allotted start time of the game will forfeit said game.
Squads with less than 4 pilots at the scramble signal for each quarter will be handled as "not showed up" and the maximum field of pilots will be taken between the other available squads.
Squads with less than 4 pilots at scramble can take that otherwise empty place and fly, but no league points can be given to them as long they not provide at least 4 pilots at the scramble signal for each quarter.

Referees can penalize squadrons that cause delays in the match longer than 10 minutes.

Each match will be assigned a referee with the referee ticket system. If no referee is available then C/O's can appoint squad members to ref each quarter.

The referees decision will be final, supported by a recording of the game to the LM and CC. Any disputes will be handled by the LM and CC as is appropriate.

There will be no countdown, and no lining up. When the Referee is ready he/she will call for the CO's to report ready, followed by a signal to start your engines, after which there will be the SCRAMBLE announcement and the game will begin. Teams must not move from the side of the runway (i.e. the arena-spawn positions) until the scramble announcement.

Players that can't fly because their team has too many may sit on the US runway at the referees discretion.
Maximum pilots for each team sitting on US will be 2.
Communication for the pilots sit on US has to be silent. No use of public or internal comms during play time.

If a pilot wishes to join mid-match and their team has less than 7 players, they may after their C/O has notified the referee of their impending arrival.

Disconnections can not be replaced by another player who is NOT in the arena. i.e. if a ref has permitted pilots to sit on US runway, a 5 minute window will be given for the disconnected pilot to re appear before he can be replaced by a pilot already in the arena and sitting on the US runway.

Substitute players during breaks is allowed, but has to be done as quickly as possible to avoid any delays.

# Map boundaries:

Teams will stay within the boundaries which are set to 1 square out from the main group of runways. Any pilot leaving the map will be classed as dead and their team will be docked 1 ratio point accordingly.

# Scoring

The points are awarded per quarter:

Win = 4 Points
2nd = 3 Points
3rd = 2 Point
4th = 1 Points
Ratio points will only count per quarter. No total will be kept other than determining the position in that quarter. So if you win all quarters you can win a max of 16 points. All squads with the same result in a quarter (tie), will receive the same amount of league points.

0 (zero) points, if a team does not show up for a match or has less than 4 pilots at scramble for each quarter.

# Play offs-
There will be no playoffs for 4 squads.

# Behaviour

Squadrons should not flood the arena comms during the match. Banter between Squadrons is acceptable and encouraged. Spamming is not. Referees will be instructed to penalise any squadron that disrupts the other teams by flooding the comms or refuses to obey their commands.

Runwaying, runway ramming, persistent crashing and escaping by an individual or team will result in that team being penalized. Continued misbehavior after this point may result in forfeiture of the game. In this matter the Referee has the final judgment.

Unsporting behavior: this league is intended to be fun for all teams playing in it, consequently teams must be seen to be playing the game fairly.

It is not permissible for a squadron to deliberately remain seated on the runway and refuse to take off or to avoid engaging the enemy for prolonged periods of time.

Neither is it permissible for a team to 'quit' a match early because they are losing.

It is at the referees discretion as to whether he/she feels that a squadron have been deliberately unsporting and they can award the game to the opposition. The referees decision on this will be final, supported by a recording of the game to the LM. Any disputes will be handled by the LM as is appropriate.

The Referee must not be rammed, shot, stabbed, run over, mutilated, burned, covered in tar or feathers, beaten, battered, verbally or physically abused, or generally ignored.

Squadrons must refrain from verbally taunting other teams. Banter is what the game is all about. Abuse is not. Judgment in this matter will reside in the hands of the Referees.

Refs will be instructed to handle it this way:
1st time warning ( by Referee)

2nd time pilot that does, is suspended from the next league-match of his/ her squad. (Pilot asked to leave arena by Referee, followed up by League masters)

3rd time squad is suspended from the next match on their fixtures. (Pilots asked to leave arena by Referee, followed up by League masters)

# Grievance / Complaints

If squadrons have a complaint regarding one of the other teams, or a referee, the C/O only will email the League Master lm@team-airattack.de . All complaints/league issues must be handled by and responded to by the squadron Commanding Officer.
Complaints regarding the LM must be passed to the Administration of Team Airattack admin@team-airattack.de by Email. Please ensure all complaints are polite.

It is advised that at least one member of each team as well as the referee records each game to help clear up any possible disputes. Complaints will not be heeded without this evidence.
Any problems with any of these rules then please contact lm@team-airattack.de

# Suggestions

All suggestions may be emailed to the LM. All suggestions will be logged, but may not be implemented until the next season.
